What this policy covers
This policy explains how your-counsellor.co.uk uses cookies and similar storage technologies. These include browser local storage, which can remember information on your device in a similar way to a cookie.
Your choices
When you first visit, you can choose Accept all, Necessary only, or Manage settings. Google Analytics and the optional secure online booking system do not load until you allow the relevant option.

The preference storage is necessary to remember the choice you have made and to avoid asking you on every page. It is not itself used for advertising, profiling or analytics.
secure online booking system
The booking page contains an embedded service supplied by Kiku. It is blocked by default and loads only after you select Accept all, enable the Kiku option in settings, or choose to load the booking calendar.
Once Kiku is loaded, Kiku may use session cookies, persistent cookies, local storage or other storage and access technologies needed for booking, security, user preferences and operation of its service. These are controlled by Kiku and may change as its service develops.
The exact Kiku storage items and durations should be checked again on the live website after launch, because third-party behaviour can differ by browser, session and future Kiku updates.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4 only if you choose to allow analytics. It helps me understand how people use the website, such as which pages are visited, how visitors reached the site, approximate location, and browser or device information. It is used to understand and improve the website, not for advertising.

Google Analytics is not loaded before you allow analytics. If you later turn analytics off using Cookie settings, the website disables further Analytics collection and attempts to remove its first-party Analytics cookies from this site.
